Thank you for taking the time to read about our family business. My name is Liz and I decided to set up Sparkling Gems to provide a reliable service to households needing an extra pair of hands. Having always lived in the New Forest, I wanted to set up a professional yet family run service, that our customers can rely on!

There are no contracts to sign and you are not tied in, that is because I am so sure you will love what we do, leaving you the time to enjoy your home.

Where did the idea of the name come from? We want to make your house sparkle and be the hidden gems making your life easier!

Meeting Your Needs
We offer our services to clients throughout the New Forest, Southampton and surrounding areas. Great service begins and ends with experienced and friendly professionals, which is why we put so much consideration into selecting the very best people to join our team. All of our team are trained to a very high standard as well as having completed, or are working towards a qualification in Cleaning.
We also supply all our own equipment, uniformed staff and are all comprehensively insured, meaning you do not need to worry about purchasing any specialist materials.

Domestic Cleaning
Weekly or Fortnightly service.
Get the results you deserve with this quality service, and at an affordable price too! Providing all our own products and equipment, our qualified, uniformed and fully insured team of professionals bring their experience and know-how with them on every job. Many of our team come from working in hotels or the hospitality industry, meaning they pride them selves on their finishing touches, it is what really sets our services apart from the rest of the industry, our attention to detail and receptiveness to the unique needs of each client.

Regular cleaning covers things like:
Hoovering and mopping the floors
Dusting and polishing
Cleaning bathrooms
Cleaning the kitchen

Deep Cleans
Deep cleaning is different from regular cleaning because it reaches the deep grime and dirt in your home.
It covers areas which aren’t traditionally covered by a regular clean for example:

Thorough clean of the kitchen, including inside and outside of cupboards, de-greasing of tiles and cooker tops, de-scale of kitchen taps and sinks
Inside of windows and frames, patio doors and conservatories
Full and deep dusting and vacuuming, including all the corners of rooms and behind furniture for cobwebs
Washing of walls, paintwork, skirting boards, door frames and doors
Scale removal from all bathroom tiles, taps, shower heads etc

This is of course reflected in the time it takes to carry out the clean. Most regular cleaning is done for 2-3 hours a week. A deep clean of a two bedroom house can take a cleaning team of 3 up to 12 hours (average condition).
